Surprisingly cathartic bleatings! I celebrate Christmas but I’ve stripped it so far back that I likely look like a common Scrooge to others. But once I gave myself permission to not participate in the “Christmas idiocy” everything changed. No big meal. No guests. No traveling. No guilt trips. No gifts. No sending stupid cards. Ah, sweet freedom.
