Your snippets of letters open so many windows upon lives both known and unknown to me. I am deeply grateful to you efforts to find and compile them in such an enjoyable manner. And yes, publish that book, but I hope it doesn't take six years.

"A psychiatrist I know [sent a] book about death, which is about being kind to cancer patients and full of photos. I got so mad I decided that the only return present was a stone angel with FUCK OFF engraved on it.
