Hah. Just when I think nothing can be as awful as my Thanksgivings are, with no family, just Henri the cat fighting for a piece of turkey while LaVerne and Shirley find their comfortable places near the fire for a long pre-winter snooze and I read Shirley Jackson stories on my Kindle.
How wonderful to read how others celebrate or endure their holidays. I got a kick out of Evelyn Waugh's day of thanks. HA! Oh, the the old folks ... the bane of the family, always crazy. I'll bet those two provide an afternoon of livid entertainment.
