A matter of personal preference...

This is among the finest letters I have ever read as a result of your efforts. Thank you Shaun Usher for Letters of Note. What a gift!

Nosily, I'd love to know what Lisa's reaction to this letter was once she read it - because I think it's beautifully thoughtful and if someone had written it to me, I'd be overjoyed.

Taking notes...I like this idea as a dad to two girls.

To read a letter (or letters) at age 21 before "spreading one's wings" is a splendid way to hopefully provide a bag of tools to use when navigating life!

I wonder ... did Lisa ever get to meet Norman Lear?

This is beautiful and very timely. I needed to read this, to hear it...It is so relevant regardless of age. Thank you so so much for sharing. I intend to reshare with a couple of friends who’ve welcomed little ones.

Loved this letter. I wonder how she felt upon reading it? Did she know Lear personally or experience the impact of his work upon her life? If she was an LA kid, raised amidst the talent and achievement that is Hollywood, did she take him for granted? Such a touching story.
