There's a marvellous Leonardo da Vinci Museum in Brno They've created all of his models (replicated in wood.) that you can go and see and interact with fantastic.
Leonardo was terrible at finishing projects—most of his contracts were left incomplete. Yet, he was so charismatic, imaginative, and visionary that people kept betting on him. That alone speaks volumes about his appeal. I admire him, but I’d never hire him with a practical mindset.
Imagine: “Leonardo, where’s the painting you promised three years ago?” He’d say, “Sorry! I moved to Milan for a new commission… and got distracted designing flying machines.” Meanwhile, the employer is left with an empty wall and an invoice for flying machine parts, wondering where their masterpiece went.
