This will be my mantra when I need to exercise patience when I fall into the mindset of wanting instant gratification.

Such refreshing wit, insight and humour in the various 'letters of note' I will immediately write letters to my closest friends, this lost art must be maintained!

Oh my! Moving words from a rich assortment of writers! All struck an empathetic chord with me in some aspect, wishing I could reach out, back down the years to offer comfort of some kind. To share recognition of human feelings.

Plus ca change.... as the French say. 🤷‍♀️

I can only imagine having to "be on" for your job when at the meet and greets. Perhaps a sigh of relief when you get to leave and "turn it off?" :)
