Great choices. My favorite is the Ralph Waldo Emerson. I do find the Boris Johnson one amusing as well. Being an American, I can’t help but think of our (thankfully) departed Trump.

Just so beautiful I can't stop reading over and over I only wish me beloved was still here with me so she could hear it she died at 51years old 7-16-2014

2. How I wish Emerson had been my father.

3. Durrell: why didn’t he then? (Give it all up that is…..) way too soppy for me. Marvellous descriptions of all the fun he’d been having without her though.
