How exciting this must have been for the librarian and the kids. Our ninth grade teacher had a literary crush on Ray Bradbury and had us read/study Dandelion Wine. After she wrote him about the use of his book in class, he wrote a letter back to her. We were all very pleased with that.
This is so amazing. What an exhilarating time for the kids at that school. I read the book in 8th grade, and I've watched the movie numerous times. SOOO good, and it's a tearjerker.

This is remarkable...thank you for sharing.
Wow. That is very cool.
Loved the book, loved the movie, but most of all, I love the story on how the book became a movie. Thanks so much for sharing! 👏🏼
Underrated!

What a sweet story
Love to see the progression. Interesting and sweet.
Very interesting history! What a lucky school.
I remember reading the book in middle school. I was unaware that Francis Ford Coppola made the movie version.
