I believe it is the genius of courteously and respectfully saying no in a way that permits no discussion, no finagling, no "but this will be so good for you, this benefits you more than it benefits us", no "I know you are busy but this will be so fun you will be thanking us for including you", no "This will give you prestige and improve your brand", no "you should be thanking us for the great opportunity"....simply "for secret reasons", period, end of sentence.
