Truly a letter like I've never experienced. I read Garcia Lorca's biography and he seemed very tame in comparison with his friend. As I recall, Dali seemed to disconnect a bit from Garcia Lorca even though they'd been very close and I think it was the emerging political dangers in Spain. Dali made it but so sadly, Garcia Lorca did not. (I did not get the impression that Dali would ever be in need of money!)
This is the world I want to live in for the next 4 years.
If I need to ask for money, this is the way I'm doing it from now on.
