There’s a difference between “protection” and the “celebration”/“deference”/“preference” that has been foisted upon our education/government systems and in other areas of our public life. At times it seems “freedoms” were created where they may not have been necessary and others’ were limited or even taken away. There’s a fine line that I think has been crossed too often these past 4 years. There is an “agenda” that has been manipulated by many in power and (most unfortunately) in positions of responsibility that really have not served the general public good. What happened Tuesday, though probably imperfect, is the response of at least half the country. Time to slow things down on the “rush” to whatever some think will be a utopia if sorts. Human history does not have a very good track record in this area.
